LaVerne Elms has spent over 24 years in the hospitality industry. Her last job was working in the business centre at the Four Seasons Hotel in Vancouver. She has a software degree and a love for cooking. LaVerne was with the hotel for 10 years, part time in many departments.
LaVerne has been operating LaVerne’s Grill in Garden Bay since 2001. Ask LaVerne what her best dish is and she may say, “Hmmm, that’s hard, read my guest book and you can be the judge!” I make about 90 percent of the menu from fresh ingredients.
